PaveScan ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PaveScan platform accessible at pavescan.app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.
PaveScan is operated by Ryan Clark as a sole proprietorship.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, phone number, and optionally your full name and company name.
When you submit a scan, you upload a photo of pavement. This image is stored securely and used solely to perform AI-powered pavement condition analysis. We do not use your images to train AI models.
We store the results of each pavement analysis, including condition scores, identified distresses, and maintenance recommendations. This data is tied to your account and accessible only to you.
We automatically collect standard log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used to maintain and improve the Service.
If you permit it, the Service may capture GPS coordinates at the time of a scan. This is optional and used solely to tag the scan location. Location access is requested in your browser and you may deny it without affecting core functionality.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use the following third-party providers to operate the Service:
When you submit a proposal request through PaveScan, your contact information (name, email, phone) and property details are shared with Ryan Clark for the purpose of providing you with a repair estimate. Your data is not shared with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your account data and scans for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@pavescan.app. Upon request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), row-level security on our database, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from remaining logged in.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
