Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using PaveScan ("Service," "we," "us," or "our") at pavescan.app. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. PaveScan is operated by Ryan Clark as a sole proprietorship.
PaveScan is an AI-powered pavement condition assessment platform. Users upload photographs of pavement surfaces and receive automated condition ratings, distress identification, and maintenance recommendations based on the PASER (Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating) system. Results are generated using artificial intelligence and are intended to assist — not replace — professional engineering judgment.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

PaveScan uses artificial intelligence to analyze pavement images. All analysis results, including PASER ratings, distress identifications, condition scores, and repair recommendations, are automated estimates only and are provided for informational purposes.
Results should not be used as the sole basis for engineering decisions, safety assessments, infrastructure investment, or legal determinations. Always consult a qualified pavement engineer or inspector before undertaking significant repair, construction, or remediation work.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any analysis result generated by the Service.
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a limited number of scans. Additional scans may be purchased through our paid plans. All purchases are subject to pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
Scan credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact support@pavescan.com for assistance.
You retain ownership of all images and data you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant PaveScan a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and analyze that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload all content you submit and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and methodology, is owned by PaveScan and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any disruption or loss of access.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaveScan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to reliance on any AI-generated analysis result.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PaveScan and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
